"Hook" or "J-hook"
This is the oldest and the most universal connector. It is usually lettered
"U". Size of the "hook" can vary, the most common are 9x3 and 9x4.
"Side pin"
Also there is name "Pin in Arm". This fastening meets on cars since 2005: BMW 3, Volvo S40, VW Jetta and Passat, and on some models of Mercedes-Benz and Peugeot.
"Top lock"
This type of connectors is not very common and is used in a number of cars BMW 5 and 6 series .
"Pinch tab"
This type of connectors is very common among European manufacturers and is used in modern cars Audi, Fiat, Saab, as well as in some models of Mercedes-Benz and Opel.
"Bayonet"
The bayonet fastening is used mainly in Renault cars after 2004 and Saab. There are modifications of this fastening with two holes for fixing screws, they are used for trucks.

"Push button"

This is slightly narrowed button. This fastening is very widespread and is used in cars Audi and Volkswagen. Unlike Push Button
, whose width is 19 mm, at the narrow button width is 16 mm.
